Our professional gathering named after our teacher – Days of Leon Lojk – are now behind us. This year the gathering was organised for the first time ever with the intent to offer professional development to everyone in Europe who practices Dr. Glasser’s ideas and to anyone interested in our approach. There were 250 participants from Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Finland, United Kingdom, and even from Kuwait. According to the evaluation results the gathering was very successful. Choice of various workshops, showcase of reality therapy practice, and lectures focused on theory were rated with high marks as well as the organisation of the event. Seven therapists from Croatia, Finland and United Kingdom have been presented with European Certificate for Psychotherapy. In non-formal part of the gathering we had members of Leon’s family joining us. Leon’s niece – sculptor Eva Tršak Andlovic presented the Institute with Leon’s bronze portrait. Along with learning and experience exchange Days of Leon Lojk were held in atmosphere of connectedness and cooperation which helps us strengthen our intent to make this gathering a tradition.
